Check your tickets! Cash 5 jackpot about to expire

A $200,700 Cash 5 jackpot is about to expire, and we need your help to find the winner before Monday, Sept. 9.

The winning ticket for the March 8 drawing was sold at the Circle K on South New Hope Road in Gastonia. The winning numbers in the drawing are:1-9-22-30-37

So if you get your Cash 5 tickets in Gastonia, check your tickets! We don’t want someone to miss out on this exciting prize.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prize after a drawing. Because the ticket expires on a Saturday, and we’re closed, the winner has until Monday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. to bring the ticket to lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

 

This prize is half of a $401,400 jackpot. James Dickerson of Arden claimed his half on March 11.

At this point in time I doubt the other winning ticket will show up. But I am glad WNC got half. That's one of the good points of the C5. When the jackpot grows, even half is a substantial sum of money.
