Catawba County man wins $200,000 scratch-off prize

All the ‘Benjamins’ in Jimmy Presnell’s All About The Bens scratch-off ticket added up to the game’s $200,000 top prize.

The good luck happened when Presnell, who lives in Hickory, bought a $5 ticket at Smokes Conover on East Thornburg Drive in Conover. He won the third of four top prizes in the game.

Presnell claimed his prize Wednesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $141,501
