Red Ball drawn in Sunday’s Pick 3 drawing

Another big congratulations to our Pick 3 players! The Red Ball was drawn during Sunday night’s Pick 3 drawing. This means players had the chance to win twice.

Sunday’s Results:

Pick 3 Drawing: 2,142 tickets won a total of $413,650 in cash prizes
Double Draw: 1,905 tickets won a total of $443,298 in cash prizes

Because the Red Ball was drawn, the Double Draw machine has been reset, and Monday night’s drawing will have six white balls and one red.

The Red Ball’s been drawn three times since the promotion started earlier this month. It runs until September 30.

@TIM M, I agree you would think that the 6’s or the 8’s would’ve came out. That’s why I’m not taking no chances I’m playing all over them, some of them maybe more than once.

Good luck P3 Double Players. We hit the first week with a favorite number and a random number it was unbelievable now wishing the same luck to all the other NCEL players!!! We had our win. Now praying for everyone else to get one as well. :-)

@CASSANDRA H, don't know if this will help or not but until December 2018 I had NEVER won on a trip but I missed out repeatedly! A day late and a dollar short. Well, last December, 222 hit. In the weeks leading up to that, if memory serves me correctly, there were a number of doubles, seems like double 6's or 8's or something; I'd have to check. Anyway, applying that principle, 666 or 888 or whatever should've hit, right? But I realized something. This is the NCEL we're talking about. They make it look like 666 but go pull something like 222. So, what did I do? I played both! That night, 222 hit and I got a $500 surprise!

@Tim I agree the trips are way over due. I missed the 111’s the last time they hit but I got the 000’s and 888’s, I feel like the trips are coming soon so I’ve been playing all of them for the past two days, I’ve been playing trip 0 to trip 9. Good luck everyone.

Hey my people at NC lottery i have a question for you: instead of just 1 red ball, why we can't have 2 red balls & minus 1 of the white balls? Y'all could at least give us a little more leadway. Nc y'all are still winning but come on & play fair....please??? ??NC Lottery
We appreciate the suggestion, Shika. Right now the Pick 3 Double Draw promotion is set up for just one red ball. Back in February when we held this promotion, the red ball was drawn no less than eleven times! Sometimes it is drawn more, sometimes less, but it is guaranteed to be drawn at least four times throughout the month. Everything else is just a matter of luck.

All these doubles means another trip's gonna fall, at least from my experience. The problem is, which trip? Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. Trips I won on since last December: 000, 111, 222(twice), and 444. Trip I missed out on this year: 000, 111(twice), and 888. I barely missed 888. I think I played it the day before but the day of I was convinced of 000 so I played that instead. Frequent doubles do seem to lead to triples. A heads up. 000 is overdue in the day but 777 is at night. 555, 666, and 999 are overdue period but 999 is the most overdue of all. 2019 was a better year for trips than usual.
