If you bought a Power Play ticket in last night’s Powerball drawing, you got a great surprise. For the fourth time, since it was introduced, the 10X multiplier hit. This means prizes under $1 million increased by 10 times.
More than 92-thousand tickets across the country multiplied their winning by 10 times. 3,940 of those tickets came from North Carolina.
11 players saw their prize jump from $100 to $1,000. 338 players saw their prize jump from $7 to $70 and 3,591 saw their prize jump from $4 to $40. That’s a nice increase!
The 10X multiplier has only been drawn three other times.

Power Play tickets cost $3, and let players multiply their winnings by two to ten times on most prize levels.
The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $40 million since a ticket sold in New York won the $80 million jackpot.
