Someone who played one of the new Fast Play games in Garner won a $231,975 jackpot on Saturday.

The lucky winner bought a $10 Jackpot 7’s ticket at Swift Creek Mini Mart on Rand Road.

Hi Ellyn. Fast Play tickets must be redeemed within 180 days of the ticket purchase date which is printed on the front of the ticket.

How many total Jackpots will be there for the odds 1 out of 240k? Will the number of jackpots going to decrease as players keep winning? Thanks!NC Lottery
You ask a great question, Elon! The odds of winning the jackpot are exactly the same for every single ticket sold. They do not decrease or change based on ticket sales or when you buy your ticket. You could be waiting in line for a ticket and the person in front of you who buys a Fast Play ticket has a 1 in 240,000 chance of winning the jackpot. Even if the person in front of you got lucky and won the jackpot, your ticket still has a 1 in 240,000 chance of winning as well. That will be the same in three weeks or three months from now.

Nice. The new game is already pushing out sizable wins. Quick question. How do I check the winners of the Carolina Black single month Second Chance drawing? I can’t find even a mention of it.NC Lottery
Hi Michael, Sorry about that. We had a temporary glitch that caused that drawing to be hidden on the website, but it should be back up now. The Carolina Black Millionaire Edition Flash 2nd Chance drawing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, so winners will be posted after we are able to notify them after the drawing and they complete the claim process.
