Lottery tickets make perfect gifts – just not for kids

If you’re struggling to find that perfect gift this year, don’t worry. We’ve got ya covered.

Our holiday scratch-off tickets make the perfect stocking stuffer or quick gift, so you’ll have one less thing to worry about this holiday season.

You can give them to your neighbor, to your mail carrier, or to your mother-in-law. The best part? You don’t even have to wrap them. Show up with a lottery ticket and let the sound of scratching fill the air!

While crossing off “get gifts” from your to-do list, remember this: Lottery tickets are not for kids under 18.

For adults, lottery tickets are thrilling and great fun. But for kids under 18, they can be risky.

From working with our partners in the area of problem gambling, we know that some who develop a gambling problem later in life report their first experience came when they were young – nine to 11 years of age.

To help stop that from happening, we encourage you to join us in preventing lottery tickets from ending up in the hands of minors.

How do you do that? It’s simple. Gift responsibly by keeping those tickets for yourself and the adults in your life.

My Daughter is Student at ECU UNIVERSIY in Greenville Nc. Our other daughter has become sick, so we can’t help our older daughter with books student loans. My daughter has a job and has to work a lot of times till 2am in the morning and that is scary for a young lady at 19 to leave. My 19 year old told me she was going to have to quit school because of her financial situation. I wish we could help her but at this time no one in this family can. She has several talents and has taught herself to sing, write songs and pick up any insterment you give her. I tell you this because she has always been strong willed and will not come home because to her that’s a failure.
