January promotions welcome you to the New Year

We’re kicking off the new year in style and introducing you to some exciting new promotions.

Celebrate the New Year with a 2021 winner for every day of the month! Thirty-one Lucke-Rewards members will win $2,021 in our Happy New Year! monthly drawing.

Plus, our Holiday Luck Second Chance promotion continues into the New Year. Remember to enter your Holiday scratch-off tickets into your NC Lottery account. The final second-chance drawing will award:

One $150,000 prize
Five $10,000 prizes
50 $500 prizes

The deadline to enter is Jan. 31 with the drawing scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 3.

I have entered 2 tickets of the new 100 X the Cash scratch off tickets for the 2nd chance promotion. I am not seeing anything about this promotion , so I was wondering if my tickets have been entered and also what the prize was for the 2nd chance draw and when it happens?NC Lottery
Hi Scott, there was a temporary problem where some players were not seeing their Second Chance entries from the new 100X the Cash tickets but it has since been corrected and your entries should be showing up under your Points History now. If you are still not seeing them, please contact Online Play Customer Service at 866-934-0289.

I just want to put this out there NCEL for the next set of tickets that have a multiplier please stop with the 50x and then the winning number only has $1 under it. Hence the Christmas $5 ticket. This is such a waste of excitement. I believe there should be no amount under the ticket cost, so if it is a $5 ticket there should be no amount less than $5 under any number. Let's do something different!

ok it is time for a trip NCEL. 909 has been out too many times without triggering a trip. Please explain to me how 909 can fall several times but 333 can't fall once. When 333 does fall why it doesn't repeat several times. .NC Lottery
Our team has strict security procedures in place to ensure that every set of numbers has the exact same chance of being drawn in every drawing. This includes using a randomly selected ball machine and randomly selected ball set during each different drawing. Every combination has a 1 in 1,000 chance of being drawn in each and every drawing. In games where you can choose numbers from 0-9, it’s no surprise that we see similar patterns come up every so often.

Hi Denford, great question! The tickets do not need to have been purchased in January, so you could buy them now and hold on to them to enter in January.
