Rocky Mount woman wins $342,753 Cash 5 jackpot

Samantha Cooper Bulluck of Rocky Mount is the winner of Saturday’s Carolina Cash 5 jackpot of $342,753.

The lucky ticket was purchased at the EP Mart located on Glenview Road in Enfield. She claimed her winnings at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $242,499.

Cash 5 is a statewide draw game that gives players the chance to win a jackpot every single night. The odds of winning a Cash 5 jackpot are one in 962,598. Tickets cost $1 and players can buy tickets at most lottery retailers or through Online Play on the lottery’s website. Thursday’s jackpot is $196,000.

Ticket sales from draw games like Cash 5 make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $700 million a year for education. For details on how lottery funds have helped all of North Carolina’s 100 counties, click on the “Impact” section of the lottery’s website.

I was stating on the article about"granddaughter listens to granddad" that i have not ever won on neither second chance or lucke reward drawings on wouldn't kno if someone claimed a prize in my identity bcuz I'm not able access the winner icon on my account to look at the list of winners. I have tried to figure where it is hidden and why. Again i like the old layout better to find winners list.NC Lottery

If you visit the 2nd Chance Draws page (https://nclottery.com/RewardsDraws), just click on the drawing, then click on the date of the drawing that you wish to see the winners for, then click "Winners". They will be posted there as the winners claim their prizes.

What's the average total of tickets sold daily for Pick 4 or the average daily ticket sales amount? The total amount of winners statewide and payout amount daily seem very small if the stated odds are correct. The very small amount of winners and a lot being repeat winners/locations on a random game seems odd.NC Lottery

I'm not sure where else to leave this comment. Can the lottery not put the numbers on your tickets bought online in numerical order like the results are presented. That was done before the latest update and it is a little annoying to have to unscamble them.NC Lottery
