The $25 dollar ticket is terrible so far bought 6 in a row won $50 bucks lost a hundred.Bought 5 in a row at another store won $75. Bought three and won $40.00 What a joke for the players your have to buy at least 4 by stated odds just to get a break even. Somebody should be fired for thinking this one was a good idea. Don't buy this ticket stick with the 30 dollar one better odds and bigger prizes.

I noticed there are 2 top prizes for the first Holiday Cash drawing that say winner notified still. Is that correct? Are you on th2nd or 3rd alternate winner?NC Lottery
Hi Lisa, there are two unclaimed $10,000 prizes from the Holiday Second Chance drawing that took place on Jan 29. Those two prizes would be on the first alternate as each winner has 30 days from the date of the drawing to claim.

Hi Julia, great question! The number of tickets printed can be calculated by using the total number of prizes multiplied by the overall odds of a scratch-off. For instance, if there were a total of 1 million tickets with prizes, and the overall odds were 1:4, that means there would be 4 million tickets printed.

The odds of winning any prize on the new 25 dollar ticket are worse than the odds on the two new five dollar scratchers.

I am sorry, but the new $25 game does not excite me and I will not be buying. You have plenty of $10 and $20 tickets with million dollar prizes so why would I shell out $25? I care a lot less about the small prizes which are hardly life-changing. Lately you seem to be headed in the wrong direction by taking away million dollar prizes for $20 tickets compared to what you offered in the past. NC Lottery

The new $25 game has a top prize of only $1 Million dollars the same top prize as some $10 scratch off's. While some $20 scratch off's have top prizes of $4 and $5 Million dollars. Why does the $25 scratch off have a lower top prize?NC Lottery
Hi Jerry, that's correct, the top prizes for Extreme Cash are lower than most $20 tickets. This game is set up a little differently from other scratch-offs. We made the lowest winning amount $40, so a winning ticket is always worth more than the cost of the ticket. (This is known as a non-breakeven game) We also loaded this game with prizes between $75 and $1,000. As a result, there are lower top prizes but more prizes in the middle of the prize table. Oh yeah! My favorites are BINGO & Cross Word. So many of the tickets are Match 3 to Win. If I'm going to spend money on them let them be challenging at the very least. Can't wait!
