$1.3 million Cash 5 jackpot won Sunday

A lucky Cash 5 ticket purchased at a Haywood County convenience store won the $1.3 million jackpot in Sunday’s drawing.

The winner bought the ticket at the Road Runner on Dellwood Drive in Waynesville and won $1,327,872. Sunday’s win ranks as the 5th highest Cash 5 jackpot won in the game’s history.

The ticket beat odds of 1 in 962,598 to match all five numbers in the drawing. The winning numbers in the drawing were: 4-21-26-32-35.

Carolina Cash 5 tickets are $1 and drawings are held every night. Monday’s jackpot is $100,000.

Cash 5 is one of four lottery games in North Carolina where players have the option of buying their tickets either through the lottery’s website or with the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. The other games are Powerball, Mega Millions, and Lucky for Life.

Folks win prizes online every day! It doesn't matter where you buy your ticket - online or in store - your odds of winning are based off the total possible combination of numbers, so the odds will always be the same.
