Fast Play: Check out Classic Bingo, Rockin’ Bingo

Our new line-up of Fast Play games come with their own themes and play styles, and if you like playing bingo you should take a look at $2 Classic Bingo or $5 Rockin’ Bingo.

Similar to bingo, each ticket gives you a set of “Your Numbers” to match with the “Caller’s Numbers.” The prize you win depends on the matching you do. And yes, you can circle your matching numbers on your ticket, just don’t write over any bar codes.

Let’s break the two games down for you.

$2 Classic Bingo

How to play: Just circle the numbers on your bingo card that match any of the Caller’s Numbers. If you get any of the nine bingo patterns on your ticket, you win a prize. You can even yell “Bingo!” if you want to.

Jackpot: If you match all the numbers on the outside of the square – an Outside Square −you win the jackpot. Since this was a $2 ticket, you win 20 percent of what the rolling jackpot was when you bought your ticket. Remember! The amount of the jackpot and what part of it your ticket wins are always at the top of your ticket.

Cash prizes: Matching a circle pattern with your numbers will win you $200 cash instantly. Other prizes range from $2 to $100 depending on the pattern of your matching numbers.

Odds: The odds of winning the Classic Bingo jackpot are 1 in 240,000; a $200 prize, 1 in 20,000; $100, 1 in 6,000; and a $2 prize, 1 in 9.

$5 Rockin’ Bingo

How to play: Circle the numbers on your two bingo cards that match any of the Caller’s Numbers. Since this is Rockin’ Bingo, music notes count as free spaces. Match any of 16 bingo patterns, and you win a prize. That’s some sweet music for you.

Jackpot: If you match all the numbers on your card - a “blackout” – you win the jackpot. Since this is a $5 ticket, you get 50 percent of what the rolling jackpot was when you bought your ticket.

Cash prizes: Matching a Z Pattern on both of your cards will win you $500 cash instantly. Other prizes range from $5 to $400 depending on the pattern you create with matching numbers.

Odds: The odds of winning the Rockin” Bingo jackpot are 1 in 240,000; a $500 prize, 1 in 20,000; $400, 1 in 16,000; and a $5 prize.1 in 7.41.

Why is it that Virginia's Fast Play $5 Bingo has 3 cards and NC $5 Bingo only has 2?NC Lottery

Worst games ever. I bought $9 worth of tickets and in 3 seconds I had won nothing. At least with scratch off you get a better feeling if you don't win. Won't be trying it.

I agree with Greg S. I did try another Fast Play ticket today and before the clerk handed it to me I was told "Oh you won $2" That is just great! I am not one of those players who just scan the bar code on scratch offs either. I pay and play the game. I know especially since COVID-19 there are stores that you can not see the terminal. I think NCEL will have to keep a close eye on this.NC Lottery

NCEL I tried these FAST PLAY games and it was like throwing money in the trash. I brought 10 $2 tickets of all three games and didn't even get a $2 WIN. It takes more than luck to WIN these games.

fast play is not a secure game due to the fact that someone else can see if you won before you get ticket.!should only be sold in vending machines or on line so it is a secure game. that is why I do not play easy match cash 5. tickets are printed out behind the service counter where customer cannot see so it is a very sketchy situation. Thank you for sharing your concerns, Greg. Fast Play tickets are printed only when a customer asks for one. In most stores where lottery tickets are sold, you should be able to see the ticket bring printed from the lottery terminal. The retailer should hand the ticket immediately to you. You can then check the date and time printed on every ticket. We have checks and balances in place to ensure the security of our games, including our new Fast Play games. If you see something that looks suspicious happening at a store, please call our Security Hotline at 1 888-732-6235 to report what happened.

It looks to me like your odds of winning a prize on a 2 dollar scratcher and the 5 dollar scratchers are better than on the 2&5 dollar FP Bingo games. A lot better.NC Lottery
Hi John, I wanted to make sure you were looking at the overall odds for each individual Fast Play game. We list out the odds table a little differently for Fast Play than we do for a scratch-off. You'll notice the overall odds for the $5 Rockin' Bingo Fast Play game are 1 in 3.63. That would be compared to a typical $5 scratch-off like Super 7's which had overall odds of 1 in 4.06 at the release of that game.
