$10 Jackpot 7’s ticket wins second Fast Play jackpot

Someone who played one of the new Fast Play games Friday in Jacksonville instantly won the jackpot as it rolled up to $357,731.

The winner bought a $10 Jackpot 7’s ticket at CJ’S Food Store on Gum Branch Road, beating odds of 1 in 240,000. The $10 Jackpot 7’s game is one of six new Fast Play games now on sale.

As a $10 ticket, it won all of the jackpot. The winner must claim the jackpot at lottery headquarters in Raleigh within 180 days.

After the win, the jackpot started over at $20,000. The rolling, progressive jackpot is an exciting part of the new Fast Play games because it increases with every ticket sold until it is won.

When you play, you can win some or all of the jackpot. Printed on your ticket is the amount of the jackpot when you bought your ticket and how much of that jackpot you could win.

Here’s how the Fast Play jackpot works:

A $2 Fast Play ticket would win 20 percent of the jackpot.
A $5 Fast Play ticket would win half of the jackpot.
A $10 Fast Play ticket would win all of the jackpot.

Friday’s jackpot win came just two days after the first jackpot win occurred with a $2 Lucky Clover ticket bought at a grocery store in Burlington. That ticket won 20 percent of the jackpot at that time and is worth $72,796.

Winning on this ticketis TERRIBLE! After saying that I was in line and told the cashier to give me 2 ten dollar draws and the pot was over $354,000 and by the time she asked me again that was a 10 dollar ticket right the pot was won. I was that close to to the winning draw. I will only play this game from now on if the pot is over $200K its to hard to even win $10 back.

I can’t believe the person at Customer service At Harris Teeter tried to steal my winning ticket. When I scanned on my phone, it said “claim at regional office” And when I asked the person at customer service to double check for me. She said “ Your ticket already claimed” I even asked her, “Is that what it said on your monitor?” She responded yes. Then I asked her again, are you sure about that? She responded yes, again. Personally I think the jackpot prizes for the $2 ticket, $5 ticket and that of the $10 ticket should be kept separate instead of putting then together. Keep them separate and make the game more attractive. Also make it an online game.NC Lottery
