Four new Fast Play games go on sale today

Four new Fast Play games are ready for you to try your luck on and they go on sale today.

Just like the first Fast Play games in September, these combine the thrill of winning a jackpot instantly with the excitement of getting an instant cash prize. No waiting on a drawing. No scratching either.

So far, 23 people have won Fast Play jackpots. The largest jackpot weighed in at $691,417. Prizes won average $1.2 million a week. The latest jackpot win occurred Saturday when someone who bought a $5 Rockin Bingo ticket in New Bern won $373,741, half of the jackpot at that time.

The four new Fast Play games each have a unique theme and play style. Here’s a look:

$2 Bingo Bucks: You get a free space in this bingo game too in the form of a $ sign and seven ways to win.
$2 Frosty 50s: Loaded with $50 prizes, this game will take the chill out of your winter.
$5 Blizzard Bingo: This game puts two bingo cards on one ticket and provides 12 ways to win a prize.
$5 Red Hot Numbers: Win by matching your numbers to the ticket’s “hot numbers” and get $5 instantly if you find a “fire” symbol. Best of all, you can win twice on one ticket.

The rolling jackpot starts at $20,000 and grows with each ticket that is purchased until it is won. Remember with a $2 ticket you win 20 percent of the rolling jackpot, with a $5 ticket you win half the jackpot, and with a $10 ticket you win all of the jackpot.

The odds of winning prizes vary, depending on the type of game and its prize, but the odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 240,000.

The games are easy to play. Each ticket shows you how to play it. The new Bingo Bucks and Blizzard Bingo games now have the winning patterns printed on the ticket.

In all, you now have eight Fast Play games to play. You can still play a $2, $5, or $10 Jackpot 7s game or the $2 Lucky Clover game. Our $2 Classic Bingo and $5 Rockin Bingo games have ended.

I just scrolled thru the most recent wins on the Fast Play Progressive. It’s just like the Pick 4 , majority of the winners are all down East , just a very small number of winners in the western part of NC. Go figure !!

Morning LZ. I like how you can click on "check it out" on the FPG banner and then "recent wins" . Shows you the last 10 jackpot wins. The retailer, town and amount won. VERY COOL. Side bar, I was reluctant to down load the newest App, with all the complaints about it and the version I had was working fine. I uninstalled the old version 1st and downloaded & installed the latest. NO complaints here. Scans are very quick and App is working fine. I have a simple Android trac phone.

If your bar code wont scan , whether it be for a draw game or scratch off. Don't worry mate. The retailer or lottery office can manually enter the 12 or 16 digit "code" to verify your said tickets. I saw it happen just last week when the dude in front of me used a hunting knife on the bar code of his scratcher that was a $100 winner. Guy behind the counter said give it here I know what to do.

LZ, a certain store in my area prints out tickets that don't scan very well, if at all. Often the tickets look faded like their machine is running out of ink. The problem is, even when the tickets appear normal they still fail to scan probably half the time. It's any of the draw games including the Fast Play. My concern is, what happens if I get a winning ticket from that store but they can't scan it? What if it's big enough to go to Raleigh? What then?NC Lottery
Hi Tim, if your local vendor will not pay out the winnings on your ticket, you always have the option to claim your prize at any NC Lottery claims center.

These games are terrible. I have spent hundreds of dollars with maybe a 25% return. almost like giving your money away. Biggest win was 50 bucks it's a hard game to win.
