Fast Play is delivering some fast jackpots

The Fast Play jackpots just keep rolling in with Thursday night delivering the 29th jackpot win since Fast Play’s launch in September.

Earlier this week, we saw two jackpot wins on Tuesday and two on Wednesday as high as $261,609. That’s five in three days.

Thursday night’s win occurred off of a Jackpot 777 ticket bought at the Mountain View Market on N.C. 127 South in Hickory. Since it was a $10 ticket, 100% of the $120,695 jackpot is ready to be claimed.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

Since Fast Play started in September, North Carolinians have won 29 jackpots.

The rolling, progressive jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. The odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 240,000.

As of this morning, the jackpot has risen back to $25,231 and continues to grow.

*Update: The 30th jackpot was won this morning off of a $5 Blizzard Bingo ticket. The winning ticket was bought at Lynch Brothers on Ita Road in Enfield. Because it was a $5 game, 50% of the jackpot, totaling $14,151, is ready to be claimed in any of the lottery’s regional offices.

Don’t forget:

A $2 Fast Play ticket would win 20 percent of the jackpot.

A $5 Fast Play ticket would win half of the jackpot.

A $10 Fast Play ticket would win all of the jackpot.

@NCEL you all really need to work on the process to end games with no top prizes the "Holiday Luck X50" has not had a top prize since before Christmas and stores are still selling it everyday. Selling people false dreams of winning the top prize. One thing that could be done is not allowing stores to active new packs once the top prizes are gone. You all have got to do better.NC Lottery

I'm trying to figure out how can I know what tickets that has reached their peeks in winning so I don't keep buying that particular tickets,knowing that all the hits are gone. NC Lottery
Hi Denise that's a great question. You can check which prizes have been won for each game by visiting the Scratch Offs page on the NCEL website. I like playing the 777 Jackpot but I don't like the fact that the cashier knows if I've won or lost before I do. NC Lottery

The mobile app is still down you cannot enter anything into lucky rewards.If I delete my app and then reinstall it do I lose any dataNC Lottery

For Fast Play, does a certain amount of tickets have to be sold for the jackpot to be won, or could in theory two jackpot winners be won within minutes of each otherNC Lottery
Hi Nicholas, great question! The jackpot can be won at any time, there is no minimum amount of time or ticket sales between jackpots. It would even be possible to win on two tickets purchased in quick succession. After each win the jackpot would decrease but it never falls below $20,000. Good luck!

Hey. Congrats to all the winners. Quick question. Does half the ticket sales go towards the jackpot? I noticed the jackpot moved 1 dollar. Then again 1 dollar. Hi Kenny, the total Fast Play jackpot increases with every ticket sold but the amount is not exactly 50%. If you'd like more details about how the exact amount is determined you could try reaching out to player.info@lotterync.net.
