Congratulations to our Pick 3 players who like the number 5.

The numbers 5-5-5 in Tuesday evening’s Carolina Pick 3 drawing added up to a $4.3 million win for lottery players.

The results produced a lot of winning tickets. In all, 10,726 winning tickets matched all three numbers.

A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

When “trips” occur, they generally produce big wins. That’s because combination of three of the same numbers are some of the most popular combinations played.

Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three numbers in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Drawings in the Carolina Pick 3 game are held twice a day, at 3 p.m. and at 11:22 p.m. Players can either pick their own numbers or select a Quick Pick by allowing the lottery terminal to generate a set of three numbers for them.

the first time i experienced the sold out/void ticket, i started using just one play slip for trips, since they are the only one i run into that has reached a limit. one trip=one play slip yes i have 10 play slips for trips.

Wow, lucky for those players but not for me…I purchased a lottery ticket with triple 2’s, triple 555’s, and 000’s, because the triple 222’s were played out the lottery machine would not print the following numbers on the lottery slip and store clerks don’t always tell you when a number is sold out. Please program your system to not print out sold out numbers and if a number is sold out please allow it to print the numbers following the sold out numbers. I lost a $500 win over the computer system not being programmed properly.
