Bobby White of Asheville tried his luck on a $20 Premier Cash scratch-off ticket and won a $2 million top prize.
White purchased his $20 Premier Cash ticket from the Citistop on Hendersonville Road in Asheville. He claimed his prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
White had the choice of taking an annuity of $100,000 a year for 20 years or a lump sum of $1.2 million. He chose the $1.2 million lump sum and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $849,006.
The Premier Cash ticket launched in August with four top prizes of $2 million and eight $100,000 prizes. Two top prizes and five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.

I’ve had trouble with the holiday scratch offs too. Congrats to the winner but I believe the lottery is rigged! I believe it’s people they pick to hold up those signs with with the so called winnings on it!
