Increased Cash 5 jackpots determined for recent winners

Prize amounts for eleven recent Cash 5 jackpots claimed were less than they should have been based on sales for those drawings.

Winners who claimed these jackpots have been notified and will be paid the correct prize amounts by the end of the year. Winners of any currently unclaimed jackpots will get the correct amount as they claim.

Only eleven jackpots were affected. No other prizes in the Cash 5 game were affected and no other games were impacted.

Jackpots are calculated using base-game sales only. Software updates installed in our gaming system resulted in sales from Cash 5 tickets that were purchased with the Cash 5 Double Play add-on being excluded from the jackpot calculation.The situation has been resolved to ensure that all Cash 5 drawings are determined accurately based on all sales for the drawings.

Hi Valerie, the Nov. 4 Cash 5 jackpot was claimed back on Nov. 8, 2021 by Derrick Lawrence of Knightdale.
