Guilford County man wins ‘jumbo’ $750,000 lottery prize

Harold Wortham of Greensboro found himself the winner of a $750,000 Jumbo Bucks top prize.

He purchased his winning $10 ticket from the Kwik Trip on East Wendover Avenue in Greensboro.

Wortham claimed his prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, he took home $530,628.

LZ, what's up with these last two articles? There's practically no information about their winnings. It's like, so-and-so won X amount of dollars, took home less after taxes, and then your disclaimer in closing. Did these people plead the fifth or something? Kimberly thats the biggest lie the Lottery officals keep telling players So they can keep directing prize Money to where they want it to go. Just research where the recent large Power ball jackpot was won.
