Yes the 222s came out but the quads definitely won't "break" the state. I set limits always esp when I seen duplicate numbers dropping.

It's not fun losing and there is no guarantee your going to win when you but that ticket or scratch off so I keep it a budget on what I spend if I have extra money I play if I don't then I don't play that's it..

Hi Bill, the end date for the Colossal Cash Second Chance drawing is still "To Be Decided" but it will most likely occur sometime this summer. The exact date depends on how many tickets we sell and how many entries we receive for this drawing. We want to give everyone who is interested a chance to enter.

Hey Charles, try not to over think things. That guy like a lot of players play the same # on multiple play slips. 300 wins does not mean he won on 300 drawings. It could have been just a few, and that was over 15 yrs. Some people play 20,50 or $100 on the same pic 3 or 4. If you hit you hit huge. And those two 2nd chance wins were years apart and not really that high a value. Good luck to you, keep the faith.

Also another fun fact is that the pay out of the 222 was the largest of the previous 9 times it has hit since the lottery started!

Here we go NCEL people asked for triple and what do you know a triple comes out like magic 222. As for the fun people don't play for fun when they are purchasing a whole roll and I see it all the time they playing to win!

Exactly, nobody plays for fun. I'm sure that everyone who has spent money on tickets and lost has said HEY, I MIGHT NOT HAVE WON, BUT BOY I SURE HAD FUN! The only person I know of who may have fun doing it is Phil Morgan. After all, he is the biggest winner having won over 300 times and he has at least 2 second drawings for a Ford Mustang and a trip to Las Vegas. I have no doubt that one or both of those drawings were rigged in order to compensate him for the NCEL using his name and photo to promote the lottery. If he wins a high value prize like that again I will be seeking legal action.NC Lottery
If you aren't enjoying yourself we would rather you take a break than feel frustrated. With games of chance there is never a guarantee of winning, only a chance to win. The lottery has extensive security procedures in place to ensure the integrity of the drawings, including supervision of the daily drawings by an independent auditor.

It is not fun anymore when there is NO winning, since the first of the year in my town, I have heard many people speaking of NO winning tickets, just a very-very few and far apart.NC Lottery
Hi Linda, sorry if you haven't had a big win recently. It takes a lot of luck to win a lottery prize. That said, we are seeing many winners every day. For example, in last night's Pick 3 drawing we saw 11,735 winning tickets totaling $4,638,992 in prizes.

Hardly anyone play for fun. They play to win. People giving away their hard earned money is never fun and I believe lotteries prey on poor people more and especially with the Pick 3 and pick 4 because they see those games as an easier way to get a quick win to pay a bill or something like that. This is why they anticipate a trip or quad being drawn to get something back, yet NCEL payout rate is low compared to neighboring states(from what I've heard) .That's a shame for a state that takes in so much money from players NC Lottery
