Sampson County woman wins $200,000 prize

Mona Nassar of Clinton tried her luck on a $5 scratch-off and won a $200,000 top prize.

Nassar purchased her winning CA$H PLU$ ticket from the Smoker Friendly on Sunset Avenue in Clinton.

She claimed her prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and took home $141,501.

CA$H PLU$ launched this month with six top prizes of $200,000. Three remain to be won.

Another fun fact is 111 came out at night on this same day in 2007. Wow! I just don't know about this and yet we have numbers that have never played in NCEL history.

NCEL There has got to be three balls with 999 on them in the pick 3. It is so funny to a lot of players how so many numbers with 99 in them are drawn. Maybe next year!!!!Players are waiting for some different trips. We shall see!!!

Hi Michael, due to WRAL COVID restrictions, draw visitors are not currently allowed. Hopefully they will be able to accommodate live viewing again soon, but in the mean time you can always request a video recording of any drawings by emailing Player.Info@lotterync.net. Thanks!
