Wake County man wins $200,000 lottery prize

Luis Martinez of Knightdale tried his luck on a Black Diamond 7s ticket and scored a $200,000 top prize.

Martinez purchased his winning $5 ticket from the Breeze Thru on Poole Road in Raleigh.

He claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and took home $141,501 after required federal and state tax withholdings.

Another damn Wake County resident. I'm sick and tired of the overwhelming majority of top prizes being sent to Wake. Please don't try and convince me that you don't know where the top prizes are being sent to because you do. You know that Wake is the most populated county in the state so it's only logical it's the hot bed for top prizes.
