Guilford County man bags first $100,000 Ultimate 7’s prize

John Agnew of Kernersville became the first $100,000 prize winner in the new Ultimate 7’s scratch-off game.

Agnew purchased his winning $20 ticket from the Fleming Family Fare on Fleming Road in Greensboro.

He claimed his prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and took home $70,756 after required federal and state tax withholdings.

Ultimate 7’s launched this month with four top prizes of $2 million and eight $100,000 prizes. Four top prizes and seven $100,000 prizes remain to be won.

I also recently got an email with a digital bar code for a free C5 double draw. Gave my phone to the clerk and had her scan the bar code. Won $3 that night, cashed it in for a buck & another double draw and won $12 the next night. I love freebies, almost as much as free bees.

Congrats on your win. I don't get the odds on these tickets though I buy all price range of tickets and if you ask me the odds are all the same from a $1 to $30. I'm getting nothing back on them.

NCEL do you have dream makers email? I received a promo code that did not apply/work during check out. I contacted Lucky-E with the chat and they sent me back to dream makers for help with the issue but they dont have the email either? NC Lottery
