Some suggested game themes cannot be implemented because that particular theme is intellectual property that is owned by another company. Why in the world would ANYONE spend $20.00 on a scratch off and the top prize is $200.00. This simply makes NO SENSE at all yet a $5.00 ticket has a $200,000.00 top prize. The story with more chances to win and the diverse way players play is getting OLD. NCEL need to stop with putting out these crappy tickets and prizes and STOP adding all these add ons like the cash 5 and now the mega millions of Powerball whichever one it is to get people to spend more money. It’s all a legal rip off. Wake up people and see how you are being played just like you play to win they play you to win getting you to spend more and more moneyNC Lottery
Hi Margaret, for this ticket the top prize odds are 1 in 24, which are better top prize odds than most tickets offer. Also, the lowest tier prize is $100, which is higher than many tickets where the lowest tier prize is the same as the ticket price. I hope that helps to explain why this game might appeal to some players.

It happened to me yesterday. None of the stores l had been didn't get the new tickets even the machines in major grocery stores.

LZ, what happened this Tuesday? Some time ago you stated that tickets were being sent out a little earlier to ensure that retailers could have them out on time. Well, this first Tuesday hardly any retailers in my area had them out! I asked at one store. She said she hadn't activated them yet. This was after 2 PM! Other stores didn't appear to have them out either except for a couple of stores that actually had them out. I remember you also said that they were shipped earlier when it was a holiday weekend but apparently not so. What happened?!NC Lottery
Hi Tim, sorry about that. We understand that’s frustrating. We are doing our best to get new tickets out to retailers as fast as we can. Most retailers should have some of the new tickets by now, but it is up to them which tickets to stock. The good news is that we have over 7,000 retail locations across the state! The new 20 dollar game is not worth the money your odds are better with the $5 games, at least the prize is 200,000 dollars more bang for your buck...South Carolina has a $10 games and the prizes are 200,000 or more I will not waste $20 for a chance of #100 or $200 not worth it. This is THE worst set of first Tuesday scratch off’s that’s ever been put out. Horrible, horrible, horrible. NC lottery keep adding more way for people to spend more money but putting out less and less appealing prizes and games.

@NCEL I sure hope the odds are better and correct on this new $20 ticket $100 or $200, because I purchased ticket 17-29 on the $50 or $100 ticket/game and all was loser. That just is not fair at all NCEL!

Good odds! If you believe them. Stated odds are not even close. I have bought more than 100 packs of tickets and 1 out of 5 are break even the other 4 if your lucky you might get half your money back.
