Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is complete and the winning numbers are available, but there’s a delay in paying prizes.
The delay occurs because one of the jurisdictions that provides the Powerball game must still complete verification of winners in its location.
North Carolina has completed its process, but since it is a multi-state game all jurisdictions much finish before claims can be paid. We’re sorry for the delay, but the additional time ensures that the official and verified number of prize winners are reported.
If you won a prize in Wednesday’s drawing, just hold onto your tickets and we’ll let you know when you can submit claims for your winnings.
