Expiring Soon! $100,000 Powerball ticket

If you play Powerball in North Carolina, especially in Brunswick County, check any tickets you have to make sure you don’t have a $100,000 winner from the Dec. 19 drawing.

The ticket that won that prize expires on Friday, June 18th. The winner bought the ticket at the Circle K at 51 River Road in Belville in Brunswick County.

The $3 Power Play ticket matched the numbers on four of the five white balls and the red Powerball in the drawing. The winning numbers were: 27-32-34-43-52 and 13.

Celebrating the good luck of those who win big prizes is one of the most fun things we do at the lottery. It would be sad to see a prize like this go unclaimed.

To claim the $100,000 prize, the winner must present the ticket at lottery headquarters in Raleigh by 5 p.m. on June 18. This deadline ends the 180-day period for winners to claim prizes from the drawing.

With the help of Circle K, we posted a banner by the front door of the store and we’re trying to get the word out through local media, on our website, and on social media.

Help us spread the news so that whoever has the ticket makes it to headquarters by 5 p.m. next Friday. We have a Big Check waiting for them.

It is not right for persons with disabilities to not be avaable to benifit from the pupick5 double draw and any othother double draws. Because we awe are house bound we cant benibenifit from the extra bonus draws. That should be against the NC Disability Act. I could of won the pick 5 if only I wasnt home bound! You have to go to a store and buy the ticket. I feel its discrimination against people with disabilities. Like I said I could of won pick 5 twice already but you dont give that option online!

Hi Teresa, unfortunately nobody claimed the prize in time. That means that half of that unclaimed prize money goes back into games in the form of prizes, and the other half benefits education in North Carolina.

Hi Anne, great question! If a top prize goes unclaimed, half of that unclaimed prize money goes back into games in the form of prizes, and the other half benefits education in North Carolina. That said, we try to do everything we can to minimize unclaimed prizes. We alert the media, put up a banner in the store, and use our social channels to spread the word.

IDEA! the store has security cameras and also keeps time... the lottery ticket also has the date and with the numbers to track it... less than 30 minutes to see who bought the ticket.

I just know it is some working parent who probably forgot they bought it. I imagine this person as someone who got told off by there spouse for “waisting” money on lottery! Little do they know fortune is waiting to embrace them all.

Hi Denver, sorry it took a little while but I have an answer to your question now. There are over 650,000 Lucke-Rewards members. The "Players Club" terminology was phased out a while ago but I hope that helps to answer your question!
