One lucky player just rolled into a big win playing Fast Play Tuesday evening.
The win occurred with a Jackpot 777’s ticket someone bought at the Holiday BP on Rufus Robinson Road in Sylva. Since it was a $10 ticket, 100% of the $216,955 jackpot is ready to be claimed.
The winner has 180 days to claim their prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
Since Fast Play started in September, North Carolinians have won 57 jackpots.
The rolling, progressive jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. The odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 240,000.
As of Wednesday morning, the jackpot has risen back to $26,968 and continues to grow.
