Fast Play jackpot won Saturday in Harnett County

Someone who took a chance on a $10 Fast Play ticket on Saturday afternoon at a Harnett County convenience store just won $270,492.

The win occurred with a Jackpot 777’s ticket played at the Stop N Go on East Cumberland Road in Dunn. Since it was a $10 ticket, 100% of the $270,492 jackpot is ready to be claimed.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

Since Fast Play started in September, 62 jackpots have been won. The odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 240,000.

The rolling, progressive jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. After Saturday’s win, the jackpot started over at $20,000. At this time, it had climbed back past $23,000 and continues to grow.

Don’t forget:

  • A $2 Fast Play ticket wins 20% of the jackpot.
  • A $5 Fast Play ticket wins half of the jackpot.
  • A $10 Fast Play ticket wins win all of the jackpot.

I still have not had any luck on this particular game. It's interesting, though....the odds of winning anything on the $10 Jackpot 777’s are better (or lower) than $10 scratch off games or even the $5 Jackpot 777’s, yet I seem to do better on the latter two.

That's actually 3 jackpot wins at that same store. One in January on a $10 play and 2 in July, one on a $2 play and 1 on a $10 play. They have also had 1 $500 winner.

I stopped by that store the same afternoon but didn't buy Fast Play. I was surprised a little while later to see the jackpot start over. Oh well. On another matter, the APP! I did get tired of it doing nothing so I reinstalled it and it works fine. LZ, your IT people may want to consider this. Most apps can seemingly be updated without all this headache. Take an app like YouTube. If you're prompted to update it, it takes you to the Google Play store where you basically just click update and then reopen it. No uninstalling and reinstalling. So why does your app have so many problems when there's an update? I know you'll say that your app isn't available at Google Play due to gambling. Why then have I been to download other lottery apps there? Most are of the variety of just giving you numbers and stategies and such but the Play store is where I got them.
