0-0-0 on Friday afternoon wins Pick 3 players $3.6 million

Happy Friday to our Pick 3 players!

The numbers 0-0-0 in Friday afternoon’s Carolina Pick 3 drawing added up to a $3.6 million win for Pick 3 players.

The drawing produced 9,307 winning tickets that matched all three numbers. A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Pick 3 players loved “trips.” The combination of three of the same numbers are some of the most popular combinations played. The odds of matching all three numbers in a Pick 3 drawing are 1 in 1,000.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Drawings in the Carolina Pick 3 game are held twice a day, at 3 p.m. and at 11:22 p.m. Players can either pick their own numbers or select a Quick Pick by allowing the lottery terminal to generate a set of three numbers for them.

Hello NCEL I noticed the prize payout for 50/50 Pick 3 play went from 290 to 330. It shows 80 for the 50/50. No longer reads 40 dollar payment for any mix of nunbers of your selected Pick 3. I played my normal pick three fave 0f 50/50. They scan at 40 not 80 for a dollar play. Is that correct I've been paying pick three for a long time and never ran into this. Hi DL, the change in odds and prize structure that you are seeing is most likely related to the numbers and play type that you have selected. For some play types that take the order of numbers into account, a number like 1-2-3, which has 6 different possible arrangements, will have different odds and prize amounts than a number like 1-1-2, which only has 3 possible arrangements.
