Winter weather closes lottery offices in Raleigh, Greenville and Wilmington

Due to adverse winter weather conditions, lottery offices in Raleigh, Greenville and Wilmington will be closed today, Friday, Jan. 21.

The closings include lottery headquarters in Raleigh and the claim centers in Raleigh, Greenville and Wilmington.

The lottery’s other regional offices and claim centers in Asheville, Charlotte and Greensboro are operating on a normal schedule at this time.

All lottery drawings will be held as scheduled.

If you have a prize to claim, it will be waiting for you when the storm is over. Stay safe out there.

You would think that with all the profits NCEL rakes in that they would have a top notch web site. Instead, this is the worst operating site I have ever encountered.Spinning wheels, round and round they go, when they will stop nobody knows. Games that don't work. Points that don't show up.Crazy messages that don't make sense. Pathetic. My 12 year old grandson could do a better job with a web site than the dumb clucks at NCEL.
