OMG.... 1 out of 2 winners of the 20,000.00 fall fortune drawing is from or AT LEAST put their address as BEVERLY HILLS, CA !!!!!! HOW SICKENING, after all us NC folks sat and clicked in these entries, which needs to be fixed, so we can type in a number like 100, instead of all this time wasting clicking!!!! It wasn't enough for a New Yorker to casually win the last 10,000,000.00 ticket while driving thru NC , BUT now THIS. Players do not have to live in NC to enter second chance or Lucke-Rewards drawings - anyone who visits our state and purchases a NC Lottery ticket can enter that ticket for Lucke-Rewards points and second chance entries. After that, it's just luck of the draw! Players are only able to enter with tickets purchased while in our state, but you do not have to be a permanent NC resident to win!

Hello, I was checking the winners of the luck rewards drawings and I see that a person from Beverly Hills CA won the 1st $20,000 .I thought you had to be residents of NC to sign up for lucky rewards and 2nd chance tickets.pls.clarifyNC Lottery

A player does not have to live in the state to enter or win Lucke-Rewards or second chance drawings - they can enter with any tickets they purchased while in our state (only NC Lottery tickets can be entered in our system, so if a player was visiting our state they could buy tickets and enter to earn points and second chance entries). I have a couple questions not even related to this news blog ??????? But I have no clue where to ask. First of all what happens when no one claims the second chance prize on the Bigger Spin ? Also, are these second chance, weekly, and monthly drawings not just for NC residents ? When will a drawing date for Colossal Cash be posted ?NC Lottery
Hi there, Teresa! If no one claims a prize from a Lucke-Rewards or second chance drawing after 30 days, we will move to an alternate winner and begin the process of contacting them. The drawings are not limited to NC residents (although most who enter do live in state) - but anyone who purchases a ticket from NC Lottery is 2able to enter their ticket to earn Lucke-Rewards points and second chance entries, so players traveling through the state can enter to win as well. And a drawing date for the final Colossal Cash has been posted - the drawing will occur on 12/7/2022!
