HOW TO: Secure your ticket for eligibility for a lottery scholarship

It’s that time of year. Yes, time to set the wheels in motion for your high school senior’s eligibility for an Education Lottery Scholarship.

Let’s talk about how your senior can initiate their college plans.

You’ve heard us talk about filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. By now, you may have even talked about it with your high school senior. It’s time to put that talk into action.

What does your student stand to gain? A piece of the $41 million raised by the lottery and devoted to scholarships and grants based on financial need.

We invite you and your senior to check out the College Foundation of North Carolina website for valuable resources and guidance in how to successfully fill out the FAFSA.

i would love to take the Education Lottery Scholarship to good use because i as a63 year old would love to go to college and learn a new trade i would learn to be a chef and then give back to the community by working in a souip kitchen
