Fast Play jackpot won Wednesday in Pitt County

Wow! Someone who took a chance on a $10 50X The Cash ticket on Wednesday morning at a Pitt County grocery store won a $478,964 jackpot.

The winner purchased the lucky ticket from the Food Lion on Stantonsburg Road in Greenville. Since it was a $10 ticket, 100% of the $478,964 jackpot is ready to be claimed.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. The odds of winning a Fast Play jackpot are 1 in 240,000.

The rolling, progressive jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. After Wednesday’s win, the jackpot started over at $20,000.

Don’t forget:

A $2 Fast Play ticket wins 20% of the jackpot.
A $5 Fast Play ticket wins half of the jackpot.
A $10 Fast Play ticket wins all of the jackpot.
A $20 Fast Play ticket wins all of the jackpot plus $200,000 cash.

@NCEL, Thank you for the reply. I do understand about popular numbers and that some will be locked. In my situation though the cashier refused to sell me a pick 3 ticket because she thought the drawing was already in progress and that it was too late to sell it. This happened at 10:35pm on Feb 20th. I picked 333 and it hit. By refusing to sell the ticket I got cheated out of $500. According to the NCEL website the cutoff time is 10:59pm. I know I gripe a lot, but this time I have a legitimate complaint. Unfortunately, Speedway is refusing to accept responsibility for their cashier's mistake.NC Lottery

Correction. You told troy just over 45 million on this very blog on 4/6. I think the 66 was a holiday contest. Any way glad to see the drawing is rescheduled for Monday 4/11. I'm confused, I play almost at exclusively at Food Lion and have missed the fast play jackpot by one digit almost 30 times. However, this clown waltzes in to a Greenville Food Lion and plays the same game I do and struts off with my jackpot. It is statistically impossible to miss the jackpot by one digit that many times and not when at all. What's even worse is when a cashier refused to sell a pick 3 ticket that turns out to be a $500 winner.NC Lottery

This website does not show every place the cash 5 has been won at nor does it show most of the latest winners not the city or county. Maybe it needs to be updated but I play everyday and i have seen you guys stop the machine twice since i been playing heavy so please just update the info and work on the algorithm system and quit trying to sugar coat it like we can see all the balls during the draw while we only see the ones at the top and sometimes the ones that roll under the ones that come to the top!NC Lottery
