Orange County man wins $100,000 scratch-off prize

Eduardo Cervantes Garcia of Chapel Hill took a chance on a $20 scratch-off ticket and won a $100,000 prize.

Cervantes Garcia bought his lucky $100 Million Mega Cash ticket from the Family Fare on Airport Road in Chapel Hill.

He arrived at lottery headquarters on Friday to claim his prize, and after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,016.

The $100 Million Mega Cash game launched in May with four $2 million top prizes and eight $100,000 prizes. Three $2 million prizes and six $100,000 prizes remain to be won.

I use to buy scratch off and played pick 3pick 4 cash 5 fast play keno lucky for life power ball mega million but at least i only won $200 on one of the scratch off tickets oh well maybe it's not my turn yet

At least someone else is winning. I use to love playing the lottery but it's hard to win. Cant win lucke rewards drawings scratch offs you have to buy 10 tickets just to win 1 ticket cash 5 to this day never won anything over 1 dollar and the Powerball forget it. Fast play tickets are a ripoff.
