Double Draw returns but with a makeover

The Pick 3 Double Draw you know is coming back starting this Monday but with a colorful new twist.

Every night in August, Pick 3 players will get two chances to win a prize but this Double Draw is special because, for the first time, the Double Draw ball is Yellow.

At least one Double Draw is guaranteed to occur every week.

At the start of the drawing, we’ll pick a ball from the Double Draw machine. If the Yellow Ball is drawn, a second Pick 3 drawing will take place immediately following the first.

That’s why we call it Double Draw.

If a White Ball is drawn, the next evening’s drawing will take place with one fewer White Ball until a Yellow Ball is drawn.

How is the payout if when the yellow ball is drawn, the second pick is the same as the 1st pick?NC Lottery
Great question, Yolanda! Yes - the second drawing would pay out with the exact same prize structures as regular Pick 3 drawings :)
