Moore County woman pockets $100,000 on scratch-off

Cassandra Bandy of Carthage took a chance on a $20 scratch-off ticket and won a $100,000 prize.

Bandy bought her lucky 100X The Cash ticket from the Exprezit on U.S. 1 in Vass. She arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to collect her prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,016.

Congratulations on your big win! I'm so tired of losing! I play all the time, can't win nothing big, but small amounts I win on. Really would like to win big, just one time big. 100,000 I would be happy with. So disappointing to spend money, and don't win big! I'm afraid to stop playing, my picks might come out then. I stopped playing my pick, then guess what, my numbers came out, lost out on a 5,000 dollar win. Now don't play pick 4 anymore. Just cash5 and some on pb and mm now. Like this lady took home 71,016,I could deal with that. Good luck everyone.
