Fireball will ignite the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games beginning next Sunday.
Fireball will arrive as a new add-on feature to Pick 3 and Pick 4. Adding Fireball to your Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket will double its cost and will give you more chances to win a prize.
Fireball will fire up both games and bring some changes too. Here’s how to get ready:
- A stepdown to Fireball begins today. What’s a stepdown? Both games begin to step down the number of multi-draw tickets you can buy, decreasing that number with each drawing. Today, you can still buy seven draws for both Day and Evening drawings through Saturday. On Monday, just six multi-draw tickets for both Day and Evening drawings. And so on until we have stepped down to the start of the new games. Next Sunday, if you want to buy seven days of multi-draw tickets, you’re back in business.
- New Pick 3 and Pick 4 play slips are arriving in stores. Beginning next Sunday, the 18th, your old Pick 3 and Pick 4 play slips will no longer work. Grab a new one and get it filled out with your Fireball add-on so you are ready for the new games to start. It’s easy to see the new ones in the store. Look for the Fireball logo at the top of the play slip.
- Enjoy your last week of adding on Sum It Up and playing 1-Off in Pick 3 or Pick 4. Both Sum It Up and 1-Off will end with Saturday’s drawings. If you do win a Sum It Up or 1-Off prize between now and Saturday, you’ll still have 180 days to claim those prizes.
Remember, the heat comes on Sunday, Sept. 18. After adding Fireball to your Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket, you get to use the Fireball number to replace any of the lottery-drawn numbers for more chances to win. You can learn more about Fireball here.
