If you like Pick 3 and Pick 4, something hot comes your way in just two weeks.

Say hello to Fireball, a new add-on feature to the two games that will give you more combinations to match and win.

The heat arrives on Sunday, Sept. 18. After adding Fireball to your Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket, you get to use the Fireball number to replace any of the lottery-drawn numbers for more chances to win.

Hi, Delores! You can find the past draw numbers for Pick 3 here: https://nclottery.com/pick3-past-draws and Pick 4 here: https://nclottery.com/pick4-past-draws. The Fireball numbers for Pick 3 yesterday, 9/12, were 5 for both the daytime and evening draws. For Pick 4, the Fireball numbers on 9/12 were 9 for the daytime draw and 4 for the evening draw.

My question regarding the fireball payout was not answered. I already know what can be won with exact and fireball $680.00 but that was not my question. As usual answers that don’t make sense.NC Lottery
We apologize for any confusion on our part, Margaret! If we understand correctly, Fireball does not pay out at the same intervals as Pick 3 and Pick 4 because it is an addition to those base games, with differing odds and a different prize structure.

If any additional cost of the fireball is the same as the ticket cost why if the fireball # give you an exact winning combination you don’t win the full pay of $500.00/$5000.00. It all seems a way to suck more money from player but not pay out accordingly.NC Lottery
Hi, Margaret! If you win Exact with Fireball, you will win $180 from your Fireball number, but you can also win from your base numbers too, so if you match Exact on both, you could win $680 in total ($500 from an Exact win with regular Pick 3, plus the Fireball Exact win). Hope this helps to clarify!

The pick 4 that came out 7/8/22 has came out 4 times now this year. How in the world does this happen when there are 10000 pick 4 numbers? The repeats this year has been ridiculous!

I hope yall start bringing out better pick 3 and pick 4 like Virginia does. Virginia is a much better lottery when it comes to pick 3 and pick 4. They make it exciting for their players

Hi, David! Absolutely - Fireball is an optional add-on to your Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket, but you are able to play without that add on if you prefer just the traditional game.

Hi Carolyn, adding Fireball will double the cost of the ticket. So a $0.50 play with Fireball would cost $1. A $1 play would cost $2 and so forth.
