Gloria Mejia of Raleigh tried her luck on a $5 scratch-off and won a $150,000 prize.

Mejia bought her Super Loteria ticket from the Circle K on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh.

She collected her prize at lottery headquarters Thursday and, after tax withholdings, took home $97,875.

The Super Loteria game debuted in May with six $150,000 top prizes. Three $150,000 prizes remain to be claimed.

Has NCEL considered allowing players the ability to use the NCEL app to redeem tickets $500 or below and have that amount credited to their accounts to play? Would make it a lot easier when at home to cash these is versus having to run around to stores. ThanksNC Lottery
Hey there, William! We've heard this suggestion from some of our players before, and we hope to be able to offer this or something similar for our players in the future! This would definitely come in handy for many NC Lottery players across our state. The folks that make those decisions read comments like these, so the future is full of possibilities!

We love the lotteria tickets. So happy for your big win congratulations Gloria :-) NCEL. there was a ticket a few years ago. I think it was a three dollar ticket called treasure hunt. It was the best ticket ever we used to have so much fun with that ticket. Do you think anything similar will ever come back? Thanks NC Lottery
Hi Douglas, thanks for the nice feedback. Treasure Hunt was a cool and unique game! We will be on the lookout for similar games to bring to NC in the future.
