6-6-6 wins Pick 3 players almost $2 million

Congratulations go out this morning to all our Pick 3 players who play trips of 6-6-6.

The first big Pick 3 win of 2023 occurred in Sunday evening’s Carolina Pick 3 drawing when those numbers came up for a $1.97 million win for lottery players.

In all, 5,241 winning tickets matched all three numbers. A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Combinations of three of the same numbers, known as “trips”, are some of the most popular sets of numbers played. Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Drawings in the Carolina Pick 3 game are held twice a day, at 3 p.m. and at 11:22 p.m. Players can either pick their own numbers or select a Quick Pick by allowing the lottery terminal to generate a set of three numbers for them.

Yeah took NCEL 6 or 7 months to drop a trip after every state has had it 2 times over, and we should celebrate. Repeat numbers a lot, in a month. Yeah let's dance.

Easy-peasy? Played online. Tonight when trips don’t hit, they’ll take the money and you’ll be broke. Easy Peezy. That has to be the joke statement of the year. The lottery makes $2.5 million a day and they love for you to be addicted and broke.
