1-1-1 wins Pick 3 players more than $4.5 million

Congratulations go out this morning to all our Pick 3 players who play trips of 1-1-1.

Those numbers in last night’s Pick 3 drawing delivered $4.5 million in prizes for lottery players.

Wow. What a way to start the weekend.

In all, 11,081 winning tickets matched all three numbers. A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Combinations of three of the same numbers, known as “trips”, are some of the most popular sets of numbers played. Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

You have 180 days to claim your prizes.

Drawings in the Carolina Pick 3 game are held twice a day, at 3 p.m. and at 11:22 p.m. You can either pick your own numbers or select a Quick Pick by allowing the lottery terminal to generate a set of three numbers.

Now you also have the choice of buying Pick 3 tickets at your favorite store or on our website using Online Play.

Donald S, it's 890 more combinations out there. U only mentioned a lil over have of the combinations available! Oh yeah Angela A. I suffered the same fate, quit playing 523 and just a few days later, what drops??, u guessed it 523. U just gotta hope u play on the day that a lot of people don't play the same number as u do! Then u may have a chance! We all know what's going on!!!

Oh well did not keep the faith. I played this for 5 days and had to drop it off my list. I find it very odd the 111 came out exactly on the day I quit playing it. Because the 111 came out in VA Friday and Saturday night and guess what the exact same Fireball too. 111 Fireball (2) image that NCEL! Well congrats to the ones who did collect!

I have no idea why they’re trying to crow about finally given a little money back. On the pick three triples they make over $10 million a month. And that’s just triples there are 499 other numbers. So they give a drop back and they dry and crow.
