Trips hit in back-to-back Pick 3 drawings, winning players $4.9 million with 2-2-2

Thursday night’s winning numbers were 1-1-1. On Friday night, 2-2-2.

The numbers 2-2-2 in Friday night’s Carolina Pick 3 drawing added up to $4.9 million in prizes for lottery players. In all, 12,071 winning tickets matched all three numbers.

A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Combinations of three of the same numbers, known as “trips”, are some of the most popular sets of numbers played. Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

You have 180 days to claim your prizes.

Drawings in the Carolina Pick 3 game are held twice a day, at 3 p.m. and at 11:22 p.m. You can either pick your own numbers or select a Quick Pick by allowing the lottery terminal to generate a set of three numbers.

Now you also have the choice of buying Pick 3 tickets at your favorite store or on our website using Online Play.

Why do I receive this announcement and it says that I have 180 days to claim the prizes, does this mean that I am a winner? I don't understand someone explain to me pleaseNC Lottery
Hi Damian, can you provide more details about the announcement that you received? We do periodically send out updates on games ending and their deadlines to claim prizes, but receiving one of these updates doesn't necessarily mean that you have a winning ticket.

spent $48 and won $4 on Fast Play, you can not tell me your product is Honest, there is a reason Fast Play has not hit in over a Month, QUIT spending Millions on advertising and put it in to you loyal customers, when will the vending machines be paid off because I guess I need to take a brake till then.
