With both the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots continuing to roll, lottery players in North Carolina can go for jackpots this week that together offer $600 million in prizes.
Tonight’s Mega Millions drawing provides the first chance to take home a huge win as the jackpot stands at a $260 million annuity or $134.3 million cash. The next opportunity comes in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing where the jackpot stands at a $340 million annuity or $175.5 million in cash.
The Powerball game especially has seen some huge wins already in the month of June:
- $1 million win and two $50,000 wins in the June 3 drawing
- $100,000 win in the June 5 drawing
- $250,000 win in the June 7 drawing that remains unclaimed. The ticket came from Online Play in Charlotte.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
