The N.C. Education Lottery is proud to share that it has joined a list of 50 companies in the Triangle known as a “Best Place to Work.”
The award was announced Friday in the Triangle Business Journal.
With the award, the lottery joins a list of 50 companies in the Triangle including familiar names such as Bandwidth, Coastal Credit Union, Red Storm Entertainment, Accenture, and Fidelity Investments. The winners included companies involved in technology, construction, life sciences, professional services, manufacturing and finance.
Here at the lottery, we’re in the business of possibility. Our employees get to deliver joy and thrills across the entire state of North Carolina.
The best part of our day occurs when folks come to claim their prizes. Some prizes make your day. Some make your week. And some change a winner’s life.
But even more meaningful are the times when we hear stories of how the money raised by the lottery – now about $2.7 million a day – benefits our state.
Perhaps you live in a county that has received a $50 million grant from money raised by the lottery to help build a new school. Perhaps someone in your family or someone you know got help paying for college from lottery funds.
With more than $10 billion raised so far, you or someone you know may have been impacted. We love to hear those stories. And right now we’re collecting them.
Go to Moving NC Students Forward to share. If we pick your stories to feature in a statewide campaign, you could earn $2,000.
Offering fun games with great prizes. Meeting winners of those prizes. Raising money for a good cause. It’s all fun, exciting, and life-changing work.
