Greenville man collects $100,000 Powerball win

Marvin Gay of Greenville took a chance on a $3 Power Play ticket and won a $100,000 prize in Monday’s Powerball drawing.

Gay bought his lucky Quick Pick ticket from Duck Thru on East 10th Street in Greenville. He matched the numbers on four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000. His prize doubled to $100,000 when the 2X multiplier hit.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, he took home $71,251.

Players can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website or the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.

so happ y for you.Take your time and spend it wisely,although have fun.Once in a lifetime do you receive something like this and not everyone gets that once.Just dont let money change who you are and dont ever forget where you came from and those who where actually your friends before hand and was loyal to you,stay true to yourself and keep it loyal with them.So often we as humans let things in life make us someone we are not,just dont take what God has given you for granite and remember those less fortunate,not the ones who just want but those in need.Do has God leads your heart.
