Digital instant progressive jackpot tops $1 million for first time

For the first time, the digital instant progressive jackpot climbed past the $1 million mark on Friday afternoon.

As of 12 p.m., the jackpot stood at $1,000,000 and was still climbing. The instantly growing jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won.

The Bison Bonanza and Wheel of Bonuses digital instant games both feature the $1 million progressive jackpot. The jackpot has three different levels that can be won with the highest level being the Epic Jackpot.

The last Epic Jackpot win occurred on Sept. 7 with a $307,493 Wheel of Bonuses win in Hudson. The jackpot then reset at $50,000 and has been climbing ever since.

Please don't put a lot of money in this RNG. I believe it may be set to a very low %. Just my opinion as a very experienced gambler. The 100s put in here are like putting 100s in those little gambling/bingo spots in Charlotte. Do a 100 or so...but for the larger amounts go to Two Kings or Caesars... Penny slots are just that, the return is not that great versus what you put in it... In the brick and mortar spots you can at least change the denomination. Just my opinion. But, good luck to all.

Is there a minimum per roll wager limit on the Progressive jackpot Digital Instant online games to be eligible to win the Epic prize amount for those games? The two current games are Bison Bonanza and Wheel of Bonuses. In other words, to be eligible for the highest prize amounts, is a bet of $1.00 required or would .50 cents carry the same odds of hitting that space on the wheel? Thank you!!! NC Lottery
Hi Donna, every play of a Digital Instant game with a Progressive Jackpot has a chance to win any of the Progressive Jackpot levels. However, the odds of winning a progressive jackpot prize change proportionally by price point. For example, the odds to win a progressive jackpot on a $2.00 wager are two times more likely to win a progressive jackpot than a $1.00 wager.
