Iredell County player wins record $1.3 million digital instant jackpot

A lucky lottery player from Mooresville just won the biggest digital instant jackpot in North Carolina lottery history today with a $1.3 million prize.

The lucky winner bought a $10 Bison Bonanza ticket and instantly won the Epic Jackpot, which just reached $1,331,466 at the time. The odds of that win were 1 in 3.1 million.

The last Epic Jackpot win occurred on Sept. 7 with a $307,493 Wheel of Bonuses win in Hudson. The jackpot then reset at $50,000 and has been climbing ever since.

Today’s win marks the biggest win since digital instants debuted last November.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

@NCEL some of these Digital Instant games need to be checked. I been playing since day one and every time I have ever got the Bonus on Winter Wilds it has been 5 I mean every time that just is not right! Why even put the other numbers on there you should just say 5 free spins!

Oh well I have lost a small fortune on these Digital Instant games and can not ever get ahead of my deposit and when I do it is gone in minutes.
