5-5-5 wins Pick 3 players almost $3 million

Wow! Congratulations go out this afternoon to all our Pick 3 players who play trips of 5-5-5.

Those numbers in this afternoon’s Pick 3 drawing delivered over $2.9 million in prizes for lottery players.

In all, 7,502 winning tickets matched all three numbers. A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Combinations of three of the same numbers, known as “trips”, are some of the most popular sets of numbers played. Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

You have the choice of buying Pick 3 tickets at your favorite store or on our website using Online Play.

LOL story of my life I the play slip in my hand and trying to save a $1 cost me $500 SMH. I had played 555 all last month and just dropped it today.
