Fast Play jackpot worth $383,181 won Monday afternoon

Someone walked into a Rowan County convenience store on Monday afternoon, bought a $10 Break the Bank ticket, and instantly won a $383,181 Fast Play jackpot.

The winner purchased the lucky ticket at the Han-Dee Hugo’s on East Innes Street in Salisbury. Since it was a $10 ticket, 100% of the jackpot can be claimed.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

The instantly growing jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. After Monday’s win, the jackpot started over at $20,000 and has grown to over $25,000.

Don’t forget:

  • A $2 Fast Play ticket wins 20% of the jackpot.
  • A $5 Fast Play ticket wins half of the jackpot.
  • A $10 Fast Play ticket wins all of the jackpot.
  • A $20 Fast Play ticket wins all of the jackpot plus $200,000 cash.

Hi there, Timothy! The odds of winning the jackpot would be the same, but the amount won is dependent on the price point of the Fast Play ticket. A $10 ticket wins 100% of the progressive jackpot, whereas a $5 ticket would win 50% of the progressive jackpot. A $20 ticket wins 100% of the progressive jackpot, plus an additional $200,000!
