Mega Millions and Powerball players in North Carolina can continue to have fun this week playing for jackpots that total $823 million.
A Powerball winner tomorrow would have the choice of taking home the $330 million jackpot as an annuity or $155.8 million in cash.
A Mega Millions winner on Tuesday would have the choice of taking home the $493 million jackpot as an annuity or $231.1 million in cash.
Even though both jackpots remain up for grabs, two North Carolinians bought lucky tickets in the Mega Millions and Powerball drawings over the weekend:
- On Friday, an online player won $10,000 in Mega Millions.
- A $2 ticket, purchased at Breeze Thru on Jenks Road in Apex, won $50,000 in Powerball last night.
Players can buy Mega Millions and Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website, www.nclottery.com, or with the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
