Double Draw pays off for seventh time last night

A Double Draw occurred Sunday in the evening Pick 3 drawing, producing an additional 1,316 tickets and $118,010 in prizes.

Congratulations to our Pick 3 players who won those prizes.

The Yellow Ball came up during this month’s Double Draw promotion for the seventh time. Each time a Yellow Ball is drawn, Pick 3 players get two chances to win.

Be sure to check your numbers closely.

Double Draw Results:

First chance: 4-0-8 with Fireball of 6; 1,233 tickets won a total of $172,620 in prizes.
Second chance: The Double Draw: 1-5-4 with Fireball of 5; 1,316 tickets won a total of $118,010 in prizes.

The Double Draw promotion continues through March 31. A Yellow Ball could be drawn any night, but it is guaranteed to happen once every seven days. In Monday’s evening Pick 3 drawing, six white balls and one Yellow Ball will be in the Double Draw machine.

Could the Yellow Ball get drawn two nights in a row?

Wonder why my comment wasn't posted? Just stating the facts. The games were much more fun 5 years ago. I travel and some how I win more frequently when I play in other states. Well like older wise individuals have always told me the truth hurts!NC Lottery

NCel I find it funny that we are the only state that the players are complaining. Something is wrong. Numbers deal with probability meaning all that random crap is pseudo. Only state having this problem. In fact it wasn't like this a couple years ago. Don't know what happened but who ever is in charge now needs to be stopped!!

Something is seriously wrong with how these machines are being used. I don’t know if they’re turning them on before the drawing like test runs or what? I can’t put my finger on it, but I find it hard to believe that we are the only state in a 500 mile radius both north and south that it takes years for certain numbers to be drawn (trips,quads,and pairs). Draws are independent events, so past results have no bearing on the results of a future drawing. Lottery games are meant to be a form of entertainment, and we only want folks to play if they're enjoying themselves. If not, we recommend taking a break.

Repeat...Repeat...Repeat 8 2 9...2 9 8...892. LOL three times this month just crazy! An the payout got lower and lower each time which means NCEL won more and more. When I do finally hit this 1.1 billion tonight goodbye lottery for me.

NCEL something is wrong. Too many repeats and some numbers have not returned in years. Even though you say 1/1000. Thousand of draws. Why don't trips repeat if nothing is wrong with your machines. Make it make sense. Your players want to know.NC Lottery

LOL @NCEL The same number follows the Double Draw REPEAT.... 5 1 4 night 0 3 4 day on 21st and 22nd then 1 5 4 night 0 4 3 day on 24th and 25th. Yet we can't get some numbers to come out in years.....NC Lottery
Hey there, Angela! All the draw results are random, and the results in one drawing don't have any influence over what numbers will be drawn in the future. What looks like a "pattern" is really just randomness being random. The only thing we control is the integrity of the drawing, the winning numbers are the result of that random drawing. Every combination has a 1 in 1,000 chance of being drawn in each and every drawing. In games where you can choose numbers from 0-9, it’s no surprise that we see similar "patterns" come up every so often!

Oh well my 123 finally came, but not the correct order, so I guess I will just have to get this $40, but boy if it had of come 123 it would have been payday!!!! REPEAT...REPEAT the 154 just came out on the 21st as the double draw and again as the double draw number in this drawing! When is some of these popular numbers going to just repeat and repeat?
